• 20% Material Delivery Milestone — Due upon successful delivery of all project materials, equipment, and components to your designated site.

• 20% Final Installation & Acceptance Payment — Due upon completion of all physical installation work, successful testing, system calibration, and formal customer sign-off.

Question 2

When are invoices issued and when are payments due?

Accepted Answer

An invoice is automatically issued upon the verified completion of each milestone. All milestone invoices are due within 5 business days from the invoice date. Prompt payment ensures the project remains on schedule — delays in milestone payments may result in a temporary suspension of on-site work or a shift in the final delivery timeline.

What happens during the final testing and sign-off before the last payment?

The final 20% payment is tied directly to successful operational testing of the installation. Upon completing the setup, our technical team conducts standard performance tests alongside you or your designated representative. Once the installation passes all performance metrics, a final acceptance form is signed — which triggers the final invoice. No final payment is due until you are satisfied and have signed off.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer (BDO, BPI, Landbank, and most major Philippine banks), GCash, and cash. All payments are issued an official receipt. What is net metering and how does it work?

Net metering allows grid-tied solar system owners to export excess electricity back to the grid and receive a credit on their utility bill. When your panels produce more than you consume, the surplus flows to the grid and your meter runs backward (or a second meter records the export). At billing time, your utility deducts the export credit from your consumption charge — effectively letting the grid act as a free battery.

What does PEC-compliant installation mean?

A PEC-compliant solar installation uses correctly rated wiring, proper grounding, arc-fault and ground-fault protection, and correctly labeled disconnect switches. All P&A Solar installations are performed by licensed electrical practitioners and comply fully with the PEC and the National Building Code.

All installations are supervised by a licensed practitioner and documented with an Electrical Inspection Certificate (EIC) as required by the local building official.

What warranties come with the hardware?

Solar panels carry a 12–15 year product warranty and a 25-year linear power performance guarantee from the manufacturer. Premium inverters (Deye, SolaX, Growatt) carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Premium batteries (Pylontech, Deye ESS, SolaX) carry a 10-year performance warranty. Budget and value-tier components carry 2–5 year warranties depending on brand and model.

What happens if a component fails after the warranty period?

After the warranty period, P&A Solar provides paid repair and replacement services. We maintain relationships with all our hardware suppliers and can source replacement parts. For manufacturer warranty claims within the product warranty period, we assist in facilitating the claim with the brand's official service channels.
